Wyre AI raises $5M seed round
A note from our founder
Today, Wyre AI is announcing $5M in seed funding, led by Ironspring Ventures, with participation from WND Ventures, the corporate venture arm of DPR Construction, and VIPC (Virginia Innovation Partnership Corporation).
Preconstruction teams are responsible for some of the most consequential decisions on a project, yet they're still asked to work through enormous volumes of information under unforgiving deadlines. That gap between the complexity of the work and the tools available to do it is what Wyre AI was built to close.
I've seen this problem from both sides. As a project manager, and then building Pype, which Autodesk acquired in 2020, I watched the same failure mode repeat itself across projects and companies. The issues that eroded margins weren't surprises. They were in the documents the whole time.
Wyre AI reads a full set of drawings and specs together and generates scope packages in hours. It surfaces gaps and contradictions before the bid goes out, so the problems that become change orders never leave the desk. To date, Wyre AI has analyzed more than 250 projects, identified 250,000+ scopes and issues, and supported more than $3B in project value.
This investment will help us bring that capability to more contractors: deepening the platform, expanding our team, and making sure every project starts on stronger footing.
